Chamaedorea elegans also has the Latin name Neanthe bella. Its common names are Parlour Palm and Dwarf Mountain Palm. This palm is also called the Bamboo Palm because it has attractive bamboo-like stems that also spread similarly to bamboo. The Parlor Palm is a wonderfully graceful indoor plant that is easy to maintain and grow. Native to the rainforests in Southern Mexico and Guatemala. Beloved as an indoor plant around the world since Victorian times. Chamaedorea elegans has bright lush, green foliage and a slender, elegant stem.
VIGILANCE: Overwatering can be a problem, so be sure to plant in well-drained soil and let the soil dry slightly out between waterings.
