Dracaena Sanseveria Golden Flame Rosette' (Snake plant)

An easy-to-grow houseplant that tolerates a wide range of cultural and environmental conditions. A good choice for beginers, the easiest way to kill this plant is to overcare for it. One of the toughest houseplants is incredibly drought-tolerant, with the ability to go weeks without water. Sanseverias filter airborne toxins, they are part of our clean air plant collection. They tolerate low light (hence why they're so often seen in office buildings) but will thrive in bright light, sending up new leaves and stronger variegation.

Light: Keep it in indirect bright light, direct sun can burn the foliage, but if light levels are too low  the leaves will narrow.

Watering: Keep compost moist, with good drainage.  A good rule of thumb is to water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot.

Fertilizing: The plant appreciates a dose of liquid fertilizer. Apply a weak solution of 'Plant Fertilizer' to boost plant health and life span.

Soil: Plant in a peat-based potting mix that is rich in organic matter with excellent drainage.
