Ficus Elastica Varigated Light Green (Rubber plant)

Native to eastern parts of South Asia and southeast Asia. One of the most recognisable and relaible ornamental houseplant. Available in green and variegated varities. 

VIGILANCE: Root rot or leaf drop (if composte is too wet. Browning of leaves (due to sun scorch). Leaves can get dusty- needs regular  cleaning with damp cloth.

Light: Keep it in indirect bright light.

Watering: Keep compost moist, with good drainage. A good rule of thumb is to water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot and falling of leaves.

Fertilizing: The plant appreciates a dose of liquid fertilizer. Apply a weak solution of 'Plant Fertilizer' to boost plant health and life span.

Soil: Plant in a peat-based potting mix that is rich in organic matter with excellent drainage.
