Single Stem Dracaena Sanderiana (Lucky bamboo)

'Native to tropical Africa this plant has attractive strap-like leaves that emerge in a fountain-like cluster from a thick woody stem. It has yellowish lime-green stripes down the center of its leaves. Also called a corn plant because of the resemblance to a stalk of corn.

MERITS: Widely grown as a houseplant or interiorscape plant. This resilient, easy care plant is a delight for any space, a low maintenance plant, perfect for all plant enthusiasts.  Dracaena fragrans is renowned for its air-purifying qualities, they are part of our clean air plant collection.

VIGILANCE: Too much direct sun will scorch the foliage.                                        

Light: Keep it in indirect bright light, direct sun can burn the foliage, but if light levels are too low & the leaves will narrow.

Watering: Keep compost moist, with good drainage.  A good rule of thumb is to water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot.

Fertilizing: The plant appreciates a dose of liquid fertilizer. Apply a weak solution of 'Plant Fertilizer' to boost plant health and life span.

Soil: Plant in a peat-based potting mix that is rich in organic matter with excellent drainage.
