ZZ plant or Aroid palm is native to dry grassland and forest in Eastern Africa. This tropical plant, with its upright growth, and shiny, oval-shaped, green leaves, is perfect for keeping indoors and can grow in practically any environment.

VIGILANCE: Plant may need regular potting and trimming as it grows in all directions. Its naturally shiny leaves that accumulate dust and can look dull over time hence will need regular wiping.

Care Instructions

Light: Tolerates all kind of lighting-low, indirect and bright light.

Watering: Keep compost moist, with good drainage. A good rule of thumb is to water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot.

Fertilizing: ZZ plants can store nutrients in their roots, they don’t need frequent fertilization.

Soil: Plant in a peat-based potting mix that is rich in organic matter with excellent drainage.
